2. Buy discounted Disney gift cards ahead of time:
Places like Sam’s Club often sell Disney gift cards that you can stock up on before you go. Also, it’s worth looking into credit card benefits! Plenty of card providers are pretty big Disney fans too.
3. Use a Travel Agent that specializes in Disney

They can also consult on the best times to visit as far as price and can apply promotions to your resort and ticket packages to save you more money. The biggest bonus: their services are FREE! It’s already include in the cost of your room and ticket.
4. Get Disney toys before you go:
It’s all fun and games until you hear “Mom, can I get this??” for the millionth time. If you don’t want to spend all your money on expensive souvenirs and would also like to avoid meltdowns, prepare and bring a few fun Disney toys with you to surprise your kids with at the right time.
5. Pack your own meals:
Let’s face it – food adds up! Packing plenty of snacks and picnic meals is your ticket to a much less expensive stay. At the very least, make a game plan. Plan which meals you’ll buy from the park and which you’ll bring yourselves.
6. Skip dinner:
Speaking of making a game plan, if you’re wanting to get the most bang for your buck, skipping dinner at the park is your best bet. It’s, by far, the most expensive meal to eat at Disney. Instead, head outside the park for a family dinner or bring something to share.
7. Bring your own stroller:
Sure, you could rent your own stroller, but why do that when you could bring your Zoe! Keeping track of your stroller will be so much easier with plenty of bright colors to choose from. Pro tip – Disney has pretty strict stroller regulations about which ones are allowed into parks, and every single Zoe stroller makes the cut!
8. Get the refillable popcorn:
Snacks at Disney can burn a hole in your wallet fast. But not all of them! It comes in a cool bucket that the kids will love (and can take home!), and refills are only a couple bucks. It’s great if you don’t want to break the bank on snacks, but you want the excitement of buying a snack at the park.
9. Bring reusable water bottles:
There’s nothing like overpriced water to kill the vibe. Avoid the crisis by bringing refillable water bottles! Staying hydrated is important when you’re having fun, and you won’t have to worry about conserving water due to expensive souvenir shop water bottles.
10. Explore outside of Disney:
Take some time outside the park to see what the city has to offer! It’s a great time to catch your breath, make some memories as a family, and save some cash while you’re at it.
